What is astrology and how does it work?

Astrology is an ancient practice that studies the positions of celestial bodies and their influence on human life. It's based on the principle that planetary alignments at the time of birth create a unique cosmic blueprint that shapes personality traits and life tendencies.

Is astrology scientific?

Astrology is considered a symbolic and interpretive system rather than a hard science. While it uses precise astronomical data for calculations, interpretations are based on millennia of observations and traditions. Many people find value in astrology as a tool for self-reflection and guidance.

Why do you need my exact birth time?

The exact birth time is crucial because the Ascendant changes approximately every 2 hours, and the Moon moves through a sign in about 2.5 days. Even a few minutes difference can affect house placements and aspects, making your reading less accurate.

What is a natal chart?

A natal chart (also called birth chart) is a celestial snapshot of the sky at your exact moment and place of birth. It shows the positions of the Sun, Moon, planets, and important points in the 12 zodiac signs and houses, revealing insights about your personality, strengths, challenges, and life path.

How accurate are natal chart calculations?

Planetary positions are calculated by an astronomical engine for the exact moment and place of birth you enter. For the Sun and the Moon, the results agree with independent astronomical calculations to within about one arcminute (1/60 of a degree). The Ascendant and houses are calculated from the latitude and longitude of your birthplace, and their accuracy depends mostly on how exact your birth time is.

What if I don't know my exact birth time?

Tick “I do not know my birth time” on the natal chart form. The chart is then calculated for noon in your birth city: the planets and the aspects between them are reliable, and if the Moon changed sign that day the page tells you so. The Ascendant, the Midheaven and the houses depend on the exact time, so instead of guessing them we leave them out. Your birth certificate or hospital records may give you the exact time.

What do the different planets mean in my chart?

Each planet represents different aspects of life: Sun (identity), Moon (emotions), Mercury (communication), Venus (love/values), Mars (action/drive), Jupiter (growth/luck), Saturn (discipline/challenges), Uranus (innovation), Neptune (spirituality), and Pluto (transformation).

How are personal horoscopes different from general ones?

General horoscopes are based only on your Sun sign and apply to everyone born in that period. Personal horoscopes consider your complete natal chart including Moon, Ascendant, and all planetary positions, providing predictions specifically tailored to your unique cosmic blueprint.

How often are horoscopes updated?

Daily horoscopes are updated every day, weekly horoscopes every Monday, monthly horoscopes at the start of each month, and yearly horoscopes at the beginning of each year. Each one takes into account the main planetary transits of its period. They are written for each zodiac sign, not from your personal chart.

How does love compatibility analysis work?

Our compatibility analysis uses synastry, comparing two complete natal charts. We analyze aspects between your planets and your partner's, examining emotional harmony (Moon-Moon), attraction (Venus-Mars), communication (Mercury aspects), and long-term potential (Saturn aspects).

Is high compatibility necessary for a good relationship?

Not necessarily! Challenging aspects can bring growth and passion, while harmonious aspects provide ease. A balanced combination is often ideal. Compatibility shows potential dynamics, but conscious effort and communication are always key to any relationship's success.

Can I check compatibility with friends or business partners?

Absolutely! While our tool is designed for romantic compatibility, synastry principles apply to all relationships. You can gain insights into friendship dynamics, business partnership potential, or family relationships.

What's included in the premium subscription?

Premium subscriptions are still being prepared and cannot be bought yet. What they will include and what they will cost will be published on the site before they open. Everything you can use on Zodialix today is free.

What payment methods do you accept?

Payments are not open yet, so no payment methods are accepted at the moment. They will be listed here when premium subscriptions go on sale.

How do I update my birth data?

Go to your Dashboard, select the Profile tab, and click 'Change birth data'. You can update your birth date, time, and location. Your natal chart will be automatically recalculated with the new information.

Can I change the language of my horoscopes?

Yes! Our service supports multiple languages. You can change your preferred language in profile settings, and all horoscopes will be generated in that language.

How do I delete my account?

You can delete your account on the Security tab of your dashboard. The account is closed and your saved pairs are erased immediately. If you also want the rest of your data erased, write to support@zodialix.com.

Which browsers are supported?

We support all modern browsers including Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge. For the best experience, please keep your browser updated to the latest version.

Is my personal data secure?

Yes, we take data security seriously. All data is encrypted during transmission and storage. We never sell your personal information to third parties. See our Privacy Policy for complete details.
